Serious Props! Rock On - Rocks, Gems, and Crystals in Santa Fe

"Natural" props for the New Mexico Film Industry - at Rock On! in Santa Fe. Cool new members of the New Mexico Film Directory on crewnewmexico.com.

We've spent time hanging around this store, and think you should, too. If you're in need of any crystals, gems, minerals, fossils, or jewelery for your shoot, these guys can be of a lot of help. They've got a huge selection of rare and impressive stones and crystals - things I've never seen before, and I'm a university trained geographer - and they can also cut/create items to spec. And there's a huge selection of things that would make amazing gifts. They also ship everywhere. If you're just buying, they're running a half off sale for the next month -- till August 31 - so its a great time.

They're a New Mexico based company, and fully rebateable under the terms of the New Mexico film incentive program.

Breaking Bad is a great feather in the cap for the New Mexico film industry. They're back for a third season of filming in New Mexico. It helps that the show is set in Albuquerque, (and they've had a great time shooting in New Mexico).

Synopsis: Walt White is an ordinary chemistry teacher sleeping his way through life, but when he is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, he finally wakes up and begins to live life to the fullest. Realizing that he needs to provide financially for his pregnant wife and special needs son once he's gone, Walt puts his chemistry skills to use by creating a rolling meth lab.

Walt teams up with former student Jesse Pinkman, who teaches him about the entrepreneurial world of drug dealing. The two set up shop in a converted RV and before they know it, business is booming. No road to success comes without its share of problems and for Walt that comes in the form of an obnoxious brother-in-law Hank -- who happens to be a Drug Enforcement Agent!
