What's New With Crew?!

We wanted to let you know about some great new features on the way - and they're all dedicated to improving the public/user experience, and making sure everyone is informed about what's going on in the NM Film industry, and has the information they need to get/stay involved.

We're going to be implementing a new calendar program using Google Calendar - its going to be a calendar of all industry related events - meetings, conferences, casting calls, happy hours, workshops, parties, screenings, State hearings, union meetings, safety classes -- you name it. You'll be able to subscribe to the calendar so that you're informed of new listings, and you can also select listings/events to be reminded of via email.

Secondly, we're going to be implementing a discussion board where everyone can come to read about, and comment on, what's going on in the New Mexico Film industry. We'll have sections for every production in state, new movie releases, union folks, background/extras, safety issues, new technologies, cool businesses, and more. It's going to be a very busy place.

Thirdly, we are building our own customized world wide web search portal that will allow you to search the web without ever leaving crewnewmexico.com. If you click on any of the ads, we'll donate 10% of the funds to a New Mexico charity. You'll be able to make crewnewmexico.com your homepage, and you'll be able to navigate the entire web, including most of your most frequently used websites such as Flikr, Facebook, etc, without ever leaving crewnewmexico.com. Its very powerful, and cool.

We look forward to unveiling these items over the next month. As always, we love your feedback and suggestions about how we can make crewnewmexico.com work for you and the NM Film industry.
