Legacy to Screen in Santa Fe

Mayor David Coss will introduce a free screening of the documentary, Legacy – Generations of Family Business at the Jean Cocteau Cinema, 418 Montezuma Ave. on Wednesday, April 22 at 6:00 pm. Produced by Jim Howard, the film portrays the stories and future prospects of families running businesses over multiple generations.

One-third of family enterprises survive the transition from founder to the second generation. This extraordinarily low survival rate marks an alarming decline. A discussion will follow the 30-minute film to explore the concern surrounding Santa Fe businesses, and to record ideas and actions we can take to help build thriving local economies and vibrant communities. 505-955-1723. jhnamaste@myfairpoint.net
