crewnewmexico.com would like to announce that Val Kilmer's Pecos River Ranch is opening its doors as a pre-production retreat and training facility. With its 6,000 acres and miles of riverfront, horses and stables, exclusive housing and proximity to Santa Fe, the Ranch is an excellent location for cast to come and train, relax, study and prepare for a shoot. Talent can come alone, and the Ranch can arrange for all services such as trainers, chefs, and assistants, or you're welcome to bring your crew. There is housing for up to 12 people in 4 different units. The accommodations are riverfront, secluded, and beautiful places to rest and relax.The Ranch is a wide-open expanse of New Mexico, offering privacy, tranquility, and all the resources you'd need to prepare for a shoot - western or not, shooting in New Mexico or not. There's a gym, miles of hiking, stables, and all is just 22 miles from the arts and culture of Santa Fe, and 1.5 hours from Albuquerque.
And since the Ranch is also a filming location, its also an excellent place for above-the-line crew to come during pre-production, and for housing during the shoot as well.
