Open Hands is a Santa Fe based non-profit that works to provide critical medical and adult care support to elders and community members in need. One of their primary programs is to provide home-care and medical support supplies at no charge.
We're working with Open Hands to let you know that they're wanting to rent these items out as medical props for the NM film industry! They have a large supply of crutches, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and shower chairs, and also have hospital beds on occasion. They have an excellent, convenient location just off Highway 25, and are eager to support productions in any way they can.
By renting props from Open Hands, you're contributing directly to a non-profit that survives on the kindness of benefactors, donors, and sponsors to continue their work. For us, its our way of helping the benefits of the film industry trickle down to those who need it most.
